Serves 4
Tortilla chips layered with cheese and toppings in a small oven-safe dish. Let each kid customise their own.
Ingredients
- • 2 cups nachos
- • 1 cup Cheddar
- • 1 scallion chopped
- • ½ tomato chopped
- • 2 tbsp. olives
- • 1 tbsp. pickled jalapeños (slices)
- • 1 tbsp. Sriracha sauce for drizzling optional
- • Optionals
- • Guacamole (salsa, canned beans, sour cream)
Instructions
- 1 The recipe is all about prep and assembling.
- 2 Take good thick nachos. I used Doritos but any brand works. You can even make homemade ones.
- 3 Chop the veggies you are using like scallions, whites and green separately, peppers, tomatoes and keep aside.
- 4 Take olives and jalapeños and keep aside. Use 1 cup grated cheese. If using sour cream, salsa and guacamole, take them in bowls.
- 5 I also used Sriracha sauce that I drizzled on top.
- 6 This recipe does not need the air fryer to be preheated. Just lay an aluminium foil/parchment paper to cover the base. I have used silicone mat to help with removing the nachos once hot.
- 7 Layer nachos and put some cheese on top. Then add some chopped veggies. Layer some more nachos and top with more cheese. You can do as many layers as you like. Use as much cheese as you would like. If using any protein add here.
- 8 Now, air fry at 360F or 180C for about 4-5 minutes till the cheese is bubbling and has melted. You don’t need to cook anything.
- 9 Take out the air fryer basket and top with chopped veggies, olives and jalapeños. Use any other toppings like cooked/canned beans or other protein etc.
- 10 Then serve with drizzled sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Your delightful loaded nachos in air fryer are done. Absolutely amazing in taste.
