Halloumi Fries

Halloumi cheese cut into fry shapes. Kids love cheese in any form, and the fry shape makes it irresistible.
Ingredients
- • 1 lb halloumi (450g)
- • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- • 1 egg
- • 1/2 teaspoon salt
- • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- 1 Slice the halloumi into thick fries.
- 2 Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk until combined. In another bowl, add the breadcrumbs, salt and garlic powder.
- 3 Dip each halloumi stick into the whisked egg, then into the breadcrumbs. Coat all sides. Repeat with each fry.
- 4 Preheat your air fryer to 180C / 355F. Add the breaded halloumi sticks with room between each stick.
- 5 Air fry for 8-10 minutes, turning once halfway through the cooking time. Serve immediately while still hot.
